How the Saga came to be.
Gerry started writing Battles at Zeta Reticuli many years ago after being drawn to the Astro & Technical side of Space. He joined the RAF and completed his education and flight training on Hawker Hunters and Gloucester Javelin jet fighters. On leaving the RAF, he joined the UKAE special techniques division.
A good grounding in aeronautics, strategies, electronic design, and technical solutions helped him to make his books believable and technically valid.
Because his career was exciting and fulfilling, it wasn't until 2013 he had time to continue writing his first book. Once started, he couldn't stop until he'd completed his SpaceFed StarShips Saga. This was set in the 24th Century, with a storyline based on the StarShip Andromeda (named after the Andromeda Galaxy), her Captain Frank Richardson, and her crew. .
